Yesterday we went to the Brisbane Broncos game against the Penrith Panthers which the Broncos won by 30points versas 6.This beautiful piece of horse flesh is Buck and everytime the Broncos score he is paraded around the stadium, earned his keep yesterday.

In my travels I tend to come across some strange signs, found this one posted on the side of a car parked on the footpath.Before you scroll down read the sign you will see why. Racq ( Royal Automobile Club of Queensland ) 

Quite nicely parked on the Footpath, I would have hated to have been the driver of this wreck, a sobering warning to all motorist as Easter is approaching.

I was having lunch at Southport in a differant location when this strange looking watercraft can pass at a reasonable rate of knots. Notice anything strange about it!

After a little wait and check all seatbelts, the skipper roars of from the carpark and takes the plunge. 

I hope they are all strapped in.

Artist at Work

Yesterday as I was passing the Public amenities block, I noticed the artist Mylinda who is responsible for the beautiful mural and captured her at work.I was informed that the local City council is funding this work.

This is a Public Amenities block at Southport on the Gold Coast, which is near the site of the Old Railway Station. 

These people were enjoying their Paragliding behind a speedboat that was not going that fast. Screams of joy from afar could be heard. 

Another view of the exferry however this shot has in the distance the World Tallest Residential building Q1. It is the third building from the right with the pointy bit on top.And also flooded houseboat. 

The is an Old Brisbane cross river ferry, which has been converted to a Houseboat from what I can gather the owner works at various establishment and moved around the Coast. 

Owner said about 30 grands worth of damage, I wonder whether the Blue and White flag is for distress. 

Came across the owners of the houseboat, who informed me the about six months ago they had the pontoons replaced and that the installers had failed to afix seals too the hatchs and that the pumps were still in their wrappings and had not been installed.Note the inflated floatation bag that has damaged the left side off the houseboat. 

Well I was down at Labador on the Gold Coast and pulled up at my favourite lunch spot on the Esplanade, and came across this half sunken houseboat.
