As a Pathology courier operating in the area of South/East Queensland I cover approximately 400km per day and encounter many interesting incidents and scenery in my daily travels. My area can cover the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Caost as far as Noosa and west from Brisbane to Ipswich.
In my travels I use a Panasonis DMC-FZ30 and an old Digitex.
However since obtaining the Panasonic it is mainly in use.
Have lately purchased a Telephoto lense to go with the Panasonic a great piece of equiptment.

This is a better view of the Captain of this massive yacht, the person in the manhole.
This yacht was part of the round the world fleet and was manned by a Sole Yachtman. He had to pullout due to rigging failure.This was taken in Hobart.The gentlman in Black on the stern is that yachtman
Notice the Small Bell attached to the gaurd rail, well it is their to chase away evil spirits. (Old Russian Superstition) this yacht was part of a solo round the world race.
